Target Areas of Giving
At Sterling, we have a long-standing commitment to supporting the communities we serve. This support takes the form of contributions, community partnerships and volunteerism. Our selected areas of focus are Arts & Culture, Charitable Giving, Civic & Community, Education and Health & Wellness. We also believe that our donations are most impactful when awarded to organizations that are geographically served by Sterling & Sonoma Bank including WA, ID, OR, MT and CA.

Sterling focuses its giving on sponsorships that strengthen communities and enhance the quality of lives in the communities we serve. As much as

Volunteerism
In major cities and smaller towns across our footprint, our employees are involved, giving generously of their time and talent. Throughout Sterling you will find employees dedicated to helping others through a wide-range of activities. Our employees take pride in their service as trustees, directors and advisors to the boards of community organizations. Our employees are active community servants. In 2010, Sterling and Sonoma Bank employees donated over 25,000 hours of their time to local causes which included over 400 organizations throughout our footprint.
