Now you and your authorized users can place real time stop payments on pre-selected accounts over the Internet, 24 -hours a day, 7 days a week. With our automated stop payment service you'll be able to:

• Transmit Sterling instructions on a specific check or on a range of checks.
• Use the system's "inquiry" function to verify whether a check from the previous day has cleared.
• Save or print onscreen images of the front and back of the check for your records.
• See each check's status automatically.

Reporting to You
If you decide to place a stop payment on an item, you can choose from a variety of reasons (i.e. duplicate payment, lost check, stolen check, etc.). And your stop payment instructions can only be cancelled by an authorized user. The service also provides reports of stop payment items associated with any account.
