We created this account¹ just for savings beginners or experienced savers who prefer to stick with the basics.

• The simple, easy-to-read statement lets you track your account growth.
• There’s no minimum balance or fees if you’re 18 or under or 55 and over.
• For everyone else, we’ll waive the $3 monthly service charge when you maintain a balance of $300.

¹Federal regulations limit these accounts to six pre-authorized withdrawals per month. Pre-authorized withdrawals include, but are not limited to: ACH debit, telephone transfer, overdraft protection and checks. Withdrawals are allowed anytime in person, by ATM or for Sterling loan re-payment. There is a $5.00 fee for Statement Savings and a $10.00 fee for Power, Power Plus accounts per pre-authorized withdrawal over these limits. If account limitations are continuously exceeded; the account will be converted to a transaction account as required by federal regulations.
