What is Online Check Imaging?
Online Check Imaging is a service for Net Banking customers that allows you to view images of your cleared checks online. These images can be viewed, printed, anytime, anywhere you have Internet access.

How much does access to Online Check Images cost?
Online Check Imaging is included at no additional cost for all Net Banking customers. Consumers and Small Business customers with active checking accounts can register for Net Banking for free. Business Net Banking customers are charged a small monthly fee.

Do I have to be enrolled in Net Banking to use the check imaging service?
Yes, check images are only available through a secure log-in using Net Banking. Net Banking is free for consumer and small business customers so why wouldn't you want to enjoy the convenience of 24-hour account access?

How do I sign up for Online Check Imaging?
If you are enrolled in Net Banking you will automatically have access to Check Imaging. You can register for Net Banking by completing a registration form available online on the home page of our website at www.sterlingsavingsbank.com.

How do I view my check images?
After logging in to Net Banking, view the “Account Summary” page and then click on the “View Recent Transactions" link next to the checking account to view transaction history. Click on the check number for each cleared check. A new window will open and within a few seconds the front of the check image will be displayed. To view the image of the back of the check, click on the “Back” link below the check image.

How do I print checks images?
Just click on the printer icon displayed at the top of the Check Image window.

How far back does the check history go?
Online Check Images will be available online for 180 days (6 months). If you need an image of a check that cleared prior to the last 180 days, please contact your local Sterling branch or the Internet Banking department at 800-650-7141.

Why do check images load slower at times?
You may notice that your check images load faster or slower at times. The load speed of your check images is dependent on your modem speed, connection speed, Internet traffic, or the load on our image server. If you experience unusually slow load times, it may help to try at a different time of day.

Why are Bill Pay check payment images not available online?
Payments sent by check by the Bill Pay provider are not currently available as online images due to the fact that the checks are not drawn or processed directly on your account. Our Bill Pay provider issues Bill Pay payments directly to the payee and matching funds are then debited separately from your checking account.
